Attacks on Indians in Australia

One more indian student killed in Australia.

Though several attacks upon Indian students have already taken place during 2008 and 2009; yet the Australian government did not pay any attention towards this matter – guess that’s why another Indian student has been stabbed to death this time. Is it the Australian government and adminstration at fault ?

Indian youths are there on legal basis with the consent and approval of the Australian Government. Though it has been said at length by the government there that Australia is a safe place to live and study, unfortunately this is not what is seen in the papers or on TV.

What can we do to stop it..??? And is the situation really so bad or just another big media hype? Lets put our thoughts in and pour our hearts out.

It’s surprising how our Indian govt. has been reacting (or rather not reacting) to the instances.. the only reactions I see – “PM said the situation is worrysome”.. it’s time to step into the matter than being a mute spectator to it.. gosh feel so bad bout these instances and so angry at the spineless nature of our govt..

ve heard ppl often say that Aussie is one of the best place to migrate and settle down and even 4 work perspective but now they need to tink a ‘n’ no. of times b4 settling down atleast in Australia. It’s no longer d best place to settle down.
Govt must and shld tak some initiatives or it ll turn into worse.

Well i think this situation is more of like promising a lot and delivering none.. a lot ha sbeenpromised from aussies and even indian goverenment but these instances just proove the worth of words being said… wat i feel is we should be competent enuff to think something from our side… i do feel we are having lot of opportunities these days here itself be it be job or studies..and we are by no means dependant on anyone else for anything… This is the high time guys to cut the dependancy rate ..after all we all have one life and it is above everything and no one of us deserve to get killed for doing nothing like this…..

Its really not that bad out here. YEAH !! i knw what will u guys say .. what abt the news ? the media? blah blah blah … where do people not fight … didn’t we gusy used to fight in our local clubs in chandigarh or delhi … the diffrence here is the amount of aggresion that aussies and indians living in aus have goes beyond control and the news that we guys get there is only when an indian is beaten or killed … but what abt when bunch of indian guuys beat up a aussie guy .. we can never clap with one hand. so if we want the situation to get any better .. both indians and australians have to understand each other better. PEACE OUT
